Abba : Lay all your love on me

About the original version

Allthough Abba was a group, simply not played in the clubscene,
there was no getting around it after Disconet (a dj remix service
in the late 70's and early 80's) issued a remix that kept dancefloors
moving even in the true underground clubs. Abba was suddenly hot
on the serious danceclub floors

About the Minimix

Building on a repetitive edit section, this mix is in the spirit of that
Disconet remix, and the brilliant whitelabel pressing mixed by Peter
Slaghuis. The Mix was made from a digital copy from the original
master, greatly improving on the dynamics of the mix. Phasing effects
were re-created in the digital editor using varispeed and offset times
between sync running sections. The mix is complemented with an array
of 80's samples and sound effects. As disco is hot again, so is Abba !
(preferably the real thing, and not the covered teens stuff).
